Ch 5 Vocabulary

Chapter 5 is about bones. This Wordle contains most of the vocabulary from the chapter. The words "bones" and "skeleton" appear the biggest because they are the big picture. The smaller words are the details that make up "bones" and "skeleton." For example, bones are made up up osteons, which in turn are made up of tiny osteocytes. The skeleton is for supporting the body, protecting the internal organs, and producing red blood cells within the marrow of the bones.
