Chapter 3 Vocabulary

These are my vocabulary words for chapter 3. This chapter focuses on the 
study of tissues (histology) and their individual importance to the organs 
they make up and the organism they are a part of. Connective, nervous, 
epithelial, and muscle tissues are all found in the human body and 
contribute to the purpose of the organs they make up. For example, 
osseous tissue, which are considered connective tissue, are hard and 
not flexible, contribute to the purpose of the bones of the body, which 
is to provide structure and protection for the body. The structure 
of tissues and how and what kind of cells make them up are what classifies 
different tissues.
